James has lived in Canberra since 1972.  With four generations of his family voting in the Brindabella electorate he understands the issues that confront your local community.  Educated in Canberra he has seen all of his past schools from pre-school to college closed and lost to the community.
 
James is a committed hard worker, with extensive experience in both public and private sectors.  For over a decade James was known to many as their 'Local Milko', he was also the president of the ACT Milk Vendors Association.   James has twelve years public sector experience, currently employed as a data manager for community care services.
 
James has always demonstrated a strong sense of community and civic responsibility, heavily involved in the Scout Association, earning its highest youth award, the Queen's Scout Award, later giving back to the Scouts as a leader, involved with his daughters' schools community and the Tuggeranong Community Council.
 
James lives in Gordon with his three daughters; he is an adventure sports enthusiast enjoying the outdoors and is a keen mountain bike rider.
 
James is passionate about the ACT and committed to promoting a culture of active citizenship where individuals can feel engaged with their government in whom they trust and respect. He is strongly committed to promoting proper public consultation.
