Community Alliance Party candidate for Brindabella, Val Jeffery the unofficial mayor of Tharwa and political stirrer, launched his high dive into the Legislative Assembly on Friday night at 7.00pm at Tharwa.

The launch was an exciting mix of Australian country hospitality and American get up and go putting a bit of life into Canberra's political scene. As well as Val's rallying speech there were songs from Alan Gumm and Ian MacDougall plus some poetry.
