- Introduction of a Carers’ Card, to provide a range of benefits and discounts to the 43, 000 unpaid carers of people with disabilities and the aged.
AGED - Plan for the future by integrating the needs of older people into a long-term strategic plan for the ACT.
- Delivering services to where people are, earmarking undeveloped land within safe walking distance of existing services and facilities for elderly accommodation.
- Support the appropriate indexation of Superannuation and Defence Force pensions.
PEOPLE WITH A DISABILITY - Co-location of therapy services with special education schools.
