The ACT Council of Parents & Citizens Associations is the peak body for government school parents and P&C Associations in the Australian Capital Territory.

Council is a non-profit, non-government representative organisation whose objectives are to foster a quality public education system, provide support services for affiliates and make representations to Government on behalf of parents of Government school students.

The 2008 MS Readathon has come to an end, with national school results now available online. Congratulations to government schools in the ACT region, which raised over $51,000!

 

 

 

Council's parent body, the Australian Council of State School Organisations, is also located in the ACT.

 

 
The Galilee organisation facilitates foster care, homeless youth programs and a school for severely disadvataged kids in Canberra. They are desparately in need of addional foster carers. Find out more at their website.
